Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Mabira
Pick up and Transfer to Mabira Rain Forest in Mukono early in the morning. Departure is at 7:30am
En route to Jinja, stopover and visit Chaking Eco-site or Sezibwa Falls or Griffin Falls for Zip Lining and Birding or Proceed to Mabira forest where you will have a forest walk, expect to encounter different species of butterflies and primates including the red tailed monkey, grey cheeked Mangby and vervet monkeys among others. Bird watching can also be done in Mabira.
Check into Mabira Rain Forest Lodge for Dinner and Overnight
Day 2: Jinja Adventure Tour
Early morning breakfast and then transfer to Jinja
On reaching Jinja, head out for a full/ half day rafting adventure on the Nile. Get prepared by listening to some briefing, fitting of life jackets and few minutes training. Feel the adrenaline rush as you paddle with your team through grade 5 rapids for over 11 km. If you’re doing half day rafting, your trip will end on Malubisi Island where you have lunch and drinks but if you’re on full day, it will continue to the last Nile Special wave with a mouthwatering buffet and drinks at the end.
If you are not interested in a white water rafting adventure, there are plenty of other fun-filled activities you can enjoy while on your tour in Jinja and these include Bungee Jumping, River Kayaking, Quad biking, horseback riding, Jet boating among others. You can also visit the Source of the Nile (world’s longest river) and explore it on a dug-out canoe and then later visit surrounding craft shops for some souvenirs. Choose one activity
Transfer back to Kampala and later to Entebbe for Dinner and overnight at Papyrus Guest House
Wake up early in the morning, refresh and have Breakfast – 7:00am
Drive to the Uganda Wildlife Education Center where you will see the big five of Uganda.
Later Transfer to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, for Chimp Tracking do it at the pre-arranged period and return to Entebbe by evening
